Welcome to the Mock Round for Lockdown!

It's a joy to have you all here. We're all very excited you've decided to join us on this adventure. So let's begin.

Just as a reminder, the round will last for two weeks, including a peace week and one week with an investigation, trial and an afterparty. The fun starts on May 20th, when your peace week introduction will go up. In the meantime, you're welcome to get acquainted with the game's locations. For the Mock Round, there will not be any new locations added; these will be all the areas you have to explore for the first two weeks. Your tasks will be revealed after you have had the opportunity to meet with the mysterious individual running the program.

But first, before we begin-- please take a moment to introduce yourself and your character to your fellow players!

There is also a Discord chat for the game, which you are all welcome to join and should have received an invite for in your acceptance comment.

Hey there, I'm Des, and I'm bringing you Yoosung Kim from Mystic Messenger! A college student who is filling the space in his life left by grief with MMORPGs. He's a dorky crybaby and he doesn't deserve this. He also is the member of a charity organization that totally does not have a shady backstory whatsoever. BY ALL MEANS, I am hype for more friends who are invested in Yoosung!! Though I've only just started Mishima's link in my P5 game so I look forward to seeing what makes them so compatible. They are definitely both cute and too good for this shit tho

Yoosung is definitely someone to hype about MMOs so this is gonna happen one way or another!!

YES GOOD.

Aiden can tell him about robots and touchscreen computers that are built into the walls. And all the other stuff that those fancy, stuck-up rich people have, back where he's from. He hates them ... but loves their technology, so Yoosung can enjoy him seeming bipolar for a moment.

Well.... being jealous of rich people is another daily struggle for him, since one of his charity friends that he chats with is a billionaire CEO. So he will kind of get that, tbh.

He sooooorta grew up with pretty much nothing, and then wound up having to literally kill to make a living (bc if you become a hunter you can only leave in a body bag, bc haha his story is fun /claps hands together, draws a rainbow with them).

Anyway, as you can probably tell, his backstory is full of happiness.

We'll see how much of that we can unpack in two weeks then LMAO it'll be a ride I'm sure

Oh, when's the last time you played? There have been a couple of new routes out since it first came out, if you got out of it before that. They're really fun... I love Mysme on so many levels

I only played the original routes - i know they've patched in two more since then... I should play it again soon, if just for those. It was a lot of fun.
